In making your choices, remember Tisbury, West Tisbury, and Chilmark  are "dry towns" (so BYOB). Oak Bluffs, Edgartown and Aquinnah are the only three "wet towns." For those who don't want to miss one moment of adventure, most island restaurants will pack up food to go. Arranging a traditional New England clambake is also a must during your stay.
